The Benefits of HSRAA Membership

Whatever your level of knowledge on archiving or records management, the Health Sciences Records and Archives Association (HSRAA) has something to offer you. The main focal point of the HSRAA is the annual conference, usually held at the end of September. This can include training workshops, knowledgeable guest speakers and important networking opportunities. The conference is a chance to share experience and problems with other like minded individuals. Members benefit from a discount on conference registration fees.

The HSRAA also publishes a regular newsletter that goes out to membership called  For the Record, the group’s bi-annual journal. Papers, presentations and lectures from the conferences are included. In the past HSRAA also published a bi-annual journal called On Record which was replaced with the regular newletter outreach. Membership also provides access to the members area of this site, which provides more resources, such as white papers,  and opportunities to interact with other members of the group.

HSRAA is also affiliated with a number of other associations and industry groups and our members benefit from discounted rates for those affiliations. Members of the HSRAA also benefit from discounted admission prices to our range of training courses and workshops. Being part of the HSRAA provides the opportunity to share your wealth of experience with its membership as well as playing a part in shaping its future.
